Three months ago, Wongani Chinkhuntha joined Sekani Kindergarten School as a shy and reserved learner with limited English-speaking skills and minimal exposure to structured learning environments. Today, Wongani has demonstrated remarkable progress in several key areas, showcasing the transformative impact of early childhood education.
1. Language Development
When Wongani first enrolled, his ability to communicate in English was limited to basic words and phrases. Trough consistent engagement in language-rich activities such as storytelling, singing, and interactive conversations, Wongani now speaks in complete sentences, expresses thoughts clearly, and uses age-appropriate vocabulary. For example, during a recent school trip, Wongani confidently described his favorite animal, saying, I like Zebras because they’re beautiful.
2. Social Skills
Initially hesitant to interact with peers, Wongani has grown into a cooperative and enthusiastic participant in group activities. He now initiates conversations, share toys, and collaborate effectively during playtime. This improvement reflects the nurturing environment of Sekani Kindergarten School, which emphasizes teamwork and positive social interactions.
3. Cognitive Growth
Wongani has shown significant improvement in problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Activities such as puzzles, counting games, and creative art projects like painting have helped Wongani develop a stronger ability to focus, follow instructions, and complete tasks independently. For instance, Wongani recently demonstrated ability to count objects up to 20 and identify basic shapes and colours.
4. Emotional Development
In addition to academic and social growth, Wongani has become more confident and self-assured. He now approaches new challenges with enthusiasm and resilience, a testament to the supportive and encouraging atmosphere provided by Sekani Kindergarten School.
In conclusion, the progress Wongani has made in just 3 months is a clear indicator of the value of early childhood education. Jeremiah has improved since joining Sekani, he is now able to communicate. His understanding of words has improved too. He can write certain numbers and letters. He is more familiar with alphabet and numbers.
As a parent I am very grateful for my daughter's improvement in all areas since she joined Sekani. Her communication skills have greatly improved... she has learned to be polite and use polite words which she even reminds us to use… her connection of speech is just too wow!... she is now keen to write whenever she chances of a pen and a book...

My son started his education journey with Sekani kindergarten this year in September as it was newly opened.
As he was starting my son did not know English alphabet, reading and writing not even counting numbers. 3 weeks later he started suprising us by identifying alphabet cards in order and speaking in good English sentences.
Now He can count numbers from 1-100 without mistakes
He is able to write numbers from 1 -50 without mistakes.
Caleb is able to identify letters with their sounds.
Not only that his social skills have also improved, he is good at forming friendships and he has built confidence.
Caleb also always reminds to give him a healthy meal at home because of the cookery lessons Sekani kindergarten is offering. He is able to identify healthy and unhealthy foods.
We would like to extend our gratitude towards the team at Sekani kindergarten for all the hard work put into the development of our child.
So far, Aisha Noor has shown so many improvements in her intellectual journey,
She is now able to say out numbers, letters, her vocabulary has greatly improved, her comprehension and as well as her activeness have all greatly improved in such a short time of starting at the kindergarten.
We are excited to see how much more she is yet to learn.
